My work "How to behave like an elegant person. Inside" consists of six pictures. These photographs are documentation photos of six situational performances in my own living space. I observe the neglect of myself and work on the exploration of the concept of elegance towards a concept of a "beautiful living". And that with a big smile! Elegance means work and contemplation. The photos show the strength you need to manage the everyday effort and the loneliness that comes while trying to stay elegant. — Hannah Schäfer

Meine Arbeit "How to behave like an elegant person. Inside" besteht aus sechs Bildern. Diese Fotografien sind Dokumentationsfotos von sechs situativen Performances im eigenen Wohnraum. Ich beobachte die Vernachlässigung der eigenen Person und arbeite an der Erforschung des Eleganz Begriffs auf ein Konzept des "Schönes Wohnen" hin. Und das mit großen Augenzwinkern. Eleganz bedeutet Arbeit und Einkehr in sich. Die Fotos zeigen die Kraft, die man braucht, um täglich den Aufwand zu bewältigen und die Einsamkeit die einher geht, bei dem Versuch elegant zu bleiben. — Hannah Schäfer
